Things For Sleepovers: Some Helpful Hints

In preparation for anything you need to have a plan and preparing for a sleepover is no different. Organization is the key component in preparedness and the way I like to get organized is to list everything I need to bring to my sleepover on my dry erase board. The second the sleepover is confirmed I go to work.
I take my dry erase board and begin to list everything; from the clothes I 'm going to wear to my toothbrush to the games I might want to bring.

Once my list is complete I begin to collect everything and put it in my sleepover bag. The sleepover bag must be large enough to store everything on your list so make sure you have a pretty big sleepover bag.
Once I've collected everything I check each item off my dry erase board and put it in my sleepover bag.
I like to bring my dry erase board with my list still on it to the sleepover so the next morning I can make sure I do not forget anything before heading back home. The following is a sample list from my dry erase board that I used on my last sleepover: Things For Sleepovers • Cute pink outfit • Pajamas • Clothes for the morning • Activity books and sticker books • Gummy Bear nightlight • Ice Cream Sandwich microbead pillow • iPod • Hair brush • Phone So now that you have gotten to your sleepover what's next? Obviously you want to have as much fun as you you possibly can but it's not all just about having fun.

There are a couple more things you should remember to do.

One, be courteous and respectful once you are at the sleepover. Don't forget, you're someone's guest in their home and your number one goal should be to be invited back and the best way to be invited back is if you're courteous and respectful. Two, Make sure you help clean up any messes that are made and three, you should always offer to help with the dishes, this will go a long way in getting invited back. Here's a bonus, If you practice these things at home a little more often you might get the chance to host more of your own sleepovers.
So there you have it, a simple guide that will get you ready for your sleepovers and get you invited back.
This guide is based on all of my past experiences and hopefully it will be useful for you.
